Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed that Fernando Torres should be fit for their Premier League opener against Stoke.
The £50million striker came off early in Spain's midweek international with Italy with mild concussion.
And although Brazilian defender David Luiz has been ruled out for Sunday's match, Torres is expected to be available.
"Torres should be okay to be selected for the team travelling up to Stoke," said Villas-Boas.
"Yesterday (Thursday) he still couldn't remember a couple of things from the game and from before the game, but he was back in training today and he is up for selection for the squad.
