I am not much into chic-flics, but my once bride-to-be Kalaya is, and she forced me to watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding (staring Nia Vardalo & John Corbett) during the planning stages of our own wedding last year.
I am not sure what her intention was, but it got us both thinking. Perhaps a wedding at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, and presided over by the "fat Elvis", was not as classy an idea as it had first sounded.
But we did not want to go out and hire a wedding planner and all of that either, so Kayala (being Thai of distant descent) suggested a wedding and honeymoon on some beach in Thailand.
