Jesse Eisenberg Practices Dealing with the Media for New Mov

Jesse Eisenberg is not a big fan of speaking with the media and doing interviews. It’s not that he dislikes those that collectively constitute "the media," but that he feels uncomfortable tooting his own horn, as it were. When he had to promote his blockbuster film "The Social Network" last year Eisenberg said point blank that he didn’t like talking about himself so much. For an actor, it’s an odd trait (not liking to be in the spotlight), but that’s just how the 27-year-old actor rolls.
This week, Eisenberg was back on the media circuit with his fellow actors from "30 Minutes or Less," promoting the film at its premiere and talking to reporters. He joked, "I requested a black carpet. I’ve laid out a carpet in my apartment and just had my girlfriend pepper me with questions and I would try to deflect them." Eisenberg referred to this as "practice" for dealing with reporters.
In addition to Eisenberg, the cast of the new film includes Aziz Ansari, Nick Swardson and Danny McBride, making for quite a bit of laugh power for the dark comedy. In the film, Eisenberg plays a pizza delivery guy, and even spent some time hanging out with a real-life delivery professional to get into his head for the role. Said Eisenberg of his approach for the film, "You want to do as much as you can so by the time you show up on set and there’s big lights set up that you feel prepared.
