"Not here" He whispered pulling me up. Wait. What?. Dead people can’t touch you!. Or can they?
He dragged me to an alley way and let go of my hand.
"Hey" He said.
"HEY!? HEY!? Are you kidding me! You’ve been dead for a year and all you say is HEY!?"
I’m so confused, I feel like I might faint but that could be from hitting the pavement so hard.
"Yeah pretty much, Wait no I'm only joking , I came to warn you." He said suddenly very serious.
"Warn me from what?"
"Promise me you will be careful and take care of Zeke and Jayke, oh and Allia, wish him happy birthday for me"
"Wait what?" I was extremely confused now. I looked down for one moment then looked up and Adam was gone.
I began to tear up and I ran, and ran as fast as I could till I reached my car, I sped all the way home hoping the cops wouldn’t stop me and thankfully they didn’t.
I drove up to the police station and picked up Sunny. She asked me why I was crying but I just said that a sad song was on.
"Your such a sook Lia" She laughed and turned up the music, I drove her home and she said that she would show me her tattoo tomorrow.
I decided to go home as I needed some rest after the shock of what had happened today. I walked inside and the house was still and quiet, PERFECT! Just what I needed to get some sleep. A small smile raised n my lips then it turned into a awkward shiver of a cry.
I flew towards my room and jumped into my bed not realizing Zeke was in there and landed on him.
"What? Who’s there?" he yelled while I rolled off him.
"Shh go to sleep baby" I said kissing his head.
I woke up to the bedroom door slamming and got up in a fright.
"Zeke! Can’t you go to work quietly!" I screamed rubbing my eyes.
"Sorry babe but I needed to wake you up" he said while brushing his teeth.
"WHY!?"
"Because, one I'm not going to work, it's too early"
"What time is it?"
"3:00 in the afternoon and before you scream at me! Go and get dressed"
"I slept for a whole day!? And why am I getting changed?"
"Yes and just do it".
I was so confused but did what he said and got dressed into a cute outfit I bought while in Louisiana. Louisiana… this is going to be a tough day to pull through.
After I got dressed I put my makeup on, and then straightened my hair. I like my hair a lot better than it was back in Texas, a lot less emo now and a lot more me.
I walked into the dining room and Zeke was sitting on the table with a rose in his mouth.
He looked so cute. "Umm Zeke, not to bother you while you're being all cute but what’s going on?" I was totally confused, I felt like I was on a tv show where everyone knew their script off by heart and I was making it up as I went along.
"Yes I am being cute and your just going to have to wait and see won’t you" He giggled then pulled me outside into the backyard where a table was set up with a red table cloth, red chairs, white plates and wine glasses, plus a vase in the middle filled with roses.
There were a path of candles that lead to the table and I gave Zeke my confused face but he nudged me forward.
I skipped merrily along the path of candles and sat down on one of the red chairs before Zeke could pull the chair out for me.
I hated when people did that, I know it's meant to be romantic but it's like really? You don’t think I can move a chair for myself?
He giggled and sat across from me, I love how he gets me and I love him.
"Babe, can I ask what was wrong yesterday?" Zeke asked concerned.
I was hoping he wouldn’t ask me that, I took a deep breath and started the story from the day my dad died and I saw him standing over his own body to seeing Adam in Louisiana.
He was quiet for a while taking in everything I just said then gave me an uneasy smile and grabbed my hands from over the table.
"Babe I love you, always have and always will I wanna be with you for the rest of my life no matter what comes between us ghosts, vampires or even death cause Allia I will love till my grave and beyond" he explained then pulled out a little red box from his pocket and opened it before my eyes. Inside was a silver ring with black diamond’s "Baby, will you marry me?"
