Students who complete the degree in business computer technology will be able to:
Complete all BCT core courses with at least a 2.0/80% grade average.
Demonstrate ability to work in a virtual environment by completing online projects.
Identify and demonstrate use of Windows desktop.
Manage computer files and folders.
Type the alphabet, number and symbol keys using proper touch keyboarding techniques.
Utilize the Internet to communicate and access information.
Create a worksheet and chart using Excel.
Create a presentation using PowerPoint.
Prepare and deliver a business presentation.
Prepare, format and produce business documents using Word.
Develop planning and writing skills for business letters, memoranda, employment and reports.
Apply basic accounting principles.
