Ortiz, Gregg suspended four games for last week's brawl
Major League Baseball has announced the penalties for last weekend's Baltimore Orioles-Boston Red Sox brawl at Fenway Park.
Red Sox DH David Ortiz and Orioles reliever Kevin Gregg, whose one-on-one-matchup highlighted the fracas, each received four-game suspensions. Both players also were fined an undisclosed amount.

The fight began when Gregg, who had thrown several inside pitches that irked Ortiz, yelled at the slugger for not running out a popup. Ortiz, jogging to first base, responded by rushing the mound. Each player threw a punch, but there was more pushing than anything. The benches cleared and the series remained chippy after the incident.
