Northern Ireland international Warren Feeney's proposed loan switch to Plymouth has stalled after a U-turn from Oldham Athletic.
The striker was on the verge of completing a season-long loan switch from the Latics after talks with Plymouth on Monday.
However, the 30-year-old says that Oldham want to agree a settlement on his contract at Boundary Park to allow Feeney to leave permanently.
"Everything was agreed for me to join Plymouth on a season-long loan and I was really looking forward to it," Feeney told skysports.com.
"I met the manager, Peter Reid, and all the players here and looked around the stadium, with everything looking great as the new owners want to do everything the right way.
