Silica launches design support strategy for power customers
Looking to establish itself as the 'power experts' in European semiconductor distribution, Silica has introduced a new design support strategy for its customers.
Dubbed Power 'n More, the service aims to support designers from system specification, architecture definition and topology, through to assistance on best fit device selection, pcb layout and EMC analysis.
As with the company's Core 'n More microcontroller initiative, specific resources will be deployed in focus countries such as Germany, Italy, the UK, France and the Nordic region.
Karlheinz Weigl (pictured), Silica's regional vp of sales, said: "Through Power 'n More we plan to establish ourselves as the power experts among European customers and suppliers.
"To attain this goal, we have invested heavily in training and education to instil in staff at all levels a culture focused on a detailed understanding of the needs of our power customers."
